Campaign Story

My name is Yesica and I am 30 years old, have been married for 9 years with my husband and not to long ago we tried to go with fertility procedures after 8 years of marriage thinking my husband’s sperm wasn’t strong enough. We did not start before due to money, first years we struggled financially.We thought we can enroll in a good health insurance that would cover fertility, and be able to cover any additional expenses for the treatment but my husband got his first results that he was infértil. After that diagnosis given to my husband we did not continue any other procedure because it was something we did not know how to go through it. I tried convincing my husband to try a infértil treatment but it’s to expensive so first we want to try a process in which I can conceive using a donated sperm and then start a infértil treatment for him since for both procedures it requires a lot of money in which we cannot afford. It is in our hearts to be parents for the longest and it breaks my heart that my husband has been wanted to be a father but he lost so much hope and has so much desire of being a father for the longest. My husband is 39 years old and he is scared that the older he gets the less chances he has of having the treatment he needs and be able to see children’s of his own. If we obtain a grant we want to start as soon as we can to finally have babies.
